NEWSLETTER #17 - LOOKING FORWARD, LOOKING BACK

Wow… the end of another year is here and we will scrape our newsletter in on the second last day! 

Time to reflect! 

  1. What are you most proud of?
  2. What do you want to accomplish next year?

A quick flick through the annual photos always helps to trigger the memories, the achievements and the challenges.

The photos are many and varied. From cattle to rugby, from trucks to boats and helicopters, from machinery break downs to shed building. From our country kitchen meals, to our paddock feeds and off to our flash lunch shared in Melbourne for the Shine awards. From podcasts from Old Bombine to food exhibition in Melbourne. From Meandarra to Yaraka. From all parts of this great country of ours. The images tell it all. 
  1. But from this, most proud, would have to be the work ethic, dedication and passion the girls show in everything they do. So.. proud and very blessed to be a family working together on the land.
  2. Looking forward.. 2023 has the calendar already filling up fast. Excited to say we are participating in Farmers 2 Founders program and attending Evoke Ag in Adelaide in February. Off to Perth at the end of April to attend the WA Feedlot Conference. Hitting the road selling Pink Beef Boxes and connecting city and country. Finishing off our big ass shed and putting cattle under it so we can produce more beef in a shorter period of time with less inputs. Added to this, we will be working towards understanding our base line carbon account … and this is just a few things on the list!

We have been a bit slack on the selling of boxes (having a bit of a sales holiday) and now it is urgent. We need pre-orders in by January 21st so only 3 short weeks to get your order in! FEBRUARY delivery will be the 3rd, 4th and 5th of Feb so get in quick to stock up for the new year!
